Automation Technician

Job Description:
We seek a qualified, experienced individual to join our company as an Automation Technician. As part of our team, you will install, maintain, and replace automation systems. This is a specialized position. Our ideal applicant needs to have considerable experience and education in engineering, troubleshooting, and programming automation systems.
Automation Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and replace automation systems within a variety of industries.
- Troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors, and control components.
- Design and provide innovative automation solutions
- Report to leadership regarding automation capabilities and status.
Automation Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prefer an Associate degree in Industrial Automation or a closely related technical field.
- Experienced PLC programmer.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills
- Experience with SCADA/HMI systems.
- An electrical journeyman's license is preferred.
